Ministry Of Health Co. Magrabi

Social responsibility has always been a corner stone of Magrabi’s mission. We owe it to our communities especially with the current pandemic. With the government hospitals prioritizing Covid-19 patients and emergency surgical cases, many elective ophthalmology procedures were postponed. Magrabi volunteered to participate in reducing these ophthalmology surgical waiting lists of the ministry of health hospitals in KSA.
On Thursday 19 November 2020, Magrabi signed an agreement with the Saudi Ministry of Health to perform 400 cataract cases free of charge from the waiting lists of the MOH hospitals. This agreement has been signed between his excellency Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah, Minister of Health and Mr. Mutasim Alireza, CEO & Managing Director with attendance of Dr. Abdullah Aseeri, Riyadh Chief of Staff and Dr. Tariq Alhamad, Riyadh Hospital Operation Director. Magrabi is proud of those respected suppliers who participated in this initiative with free IOL lenses.
They are Al Amin for Medical Instruments, Bassaffar Medical, and OSAS Medical. Magrabi is privileged with such partners giving support for the benefit of the patients. With this initiative, Magrabi highlights the importance of partnership between the private and public sector and the role of social responsibility as part of 2030 vision.
